Rohan's Inspiration behind Marley Coffee

Rohan Marley was so entranced by a shimmering river in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica he bought the land it runs on. “I’ve never seen a river so beautiful,” he said.

After finding an abundance of neglected coffee plants on the 52-acre parcel, the son of Bob Marley asked the locals: “How do we grow the coffee?” When they said with chemicals, he shook his dreadlocked head. "I am a Rastaman, I wouldn’t feel right. Chemicals… ruin the root system.”

OMG...Jack & I went up to the Blue Mountains....awesome, but I'll NEVER do that again!! They have one-way streets up those maountains----about 9,700 elevation---and NO GUARD RAILS!!!!! They hang out of their "jutes" (it was an old VW van) and whistle going around the corner to alert the oncoming traffice to "pull over?" (where?????) as they come ... See Morearound the mountain!!! I kissed the ground when I finally got off the damn van and rode a bike all the way down back to Kingston!!!! N-E-V-E-R AGAIN!!!!!!! But the coffee's good!!;-) LOL!!
